NEVER INVITE US TO YOUR HOME…BECAUSE WE WILL EVENTUALLY GET THERE.

Low Country Boil

Moving Words

We met Michael and Gini on our Antarctica trip just over five years ago.  Of course, like most people you find an affinity with on vacation, they invite you to come by if you are ever in the neighborhood. We were parked at Hilton Head RV Park and Marina on the marina and it was hot. We toured the island after getting set up and went to Sea Pines Resort and Harbor Town for lunch.

About Sharron

Author, blogger and professional seeker of new adventures. After spending many years in the healthcare field, I am now devoting my energies to writing. I have finished my first book, "Waiting on the Outside" and it will be published shortly. Writing is not an easy task, but if you feel the absolute necessity to write, then you are a writer! I am writing my second book, "The Last Thousand Miles" and I hope to have it out by the end of the year. A little ambitious I think, but if you don't aim for the sky you won't land there.

I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a littgle lost on everything.
Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress oor
go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m
completely confused .. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thank you for the compliment. I don’t have a lot of suggestions for you, but here are some:
Yes, definitely I would recommend WordPress. It is free and easy to use. You just pick out a theme and start filling in the blanks. I would not pay for anything until I really got going and had loads of followers. I also would suggest that you post more often than I do. Get used to writing and post weekly. When someone follows you ., be sure to respond and thank them and communicate with them if they write to you. It is not that hard to get started. Also use photos as they always add to your blog. Good Luck and be sure to let me know when you get started!!
